Patten's Transport wished to refurbish this International 4670 as it was one of their original trucks in their fleet. The truck for this build was sold years earlier and fortunately bought back by Patten's in 2016, arriving to Kuchel Custom Trucks in December 2016.

Patten's have their own mechanical workshop and refurbished the mechanicals prior to sending the truck into the Kuchel workshop.

Luckily the truck was in very good condition for its age and the task for the workshop team was to 'freshen up' various areas of the truck where needed most.

First task was to remove various chassis components to allow access for sandblasting of the chassis prior to applying fresh paint.

A custom light bar and deck plates were fabricated with the fitment of stainless steel mudguards to make the rear end more appealing. The Cab was prepped and repainted in the original colour scheme.

The dash was in poor shape both structurally and cosmetically and needed to be re-furbished along with various other trim panels, Steve of Stateside Trim was the man for the job.

The truck was re-assembled with various repairs along the way and finished off with the replication of the original signwriting applied.
