This International 4700 Transtar was built for Colin Stormonth and commenced in March 2018. To complete the full refurbishment, the Transtar was completely dismantled including all trim and interior accessories. 

The chassis and cab was primed and sent off for paint. A full re-trim was completed by Steve Baum of Stateside Trim.

The next step after re-assembling the Tanstar was to take it over to Teasdale Victoria, to add finishing touches to the paintwork, plus the addition of pinstriping. This was completed by well known painter Rick "Chocs" Hayman of Hayman Signs. 

Colin's livery colours of orange certainly gave the cab a lift. Chocs completed the graphics but before the pinstriping could be completed, with so much sadness Chocs passed away unexpectedly on the 18th of March 2021. A friend of Chocs, Heath Saunders of Saunders Signs & Graphics was tasked with completing the job. Heath painted a tribute on to Chocs on the back of the truck.

Once the build was completed the Truck made made its debut at the Mannum Truck Show.

This Transtar is being used in Colin's business and isn't just a pretty face! a caricature of Colin's Dad adorns the back of the cab.
